FRESH, FREE-RANGE WILD BOAR | INNISFAIL, ALBERTA
Our wild boar is raised free-range on local foothill farms near Calgary, Alberta, where their eclectic diet includes various roots and grasses in a free choice life style.

An incredibly lean meat that’s higher in protein and lower in fat than beef or chicken, wild boar contains all essential amino acids plus taurine, iron, zinc, selenium and vitamin B6, and is structured of 70% red fiber to 30% white fiber, which explains its deep red color.

Passed as ‘fit for human consumption’ by the Government of Canada, our wild boar arrives FRESH (never frozen), and is free of the growth promoting hormones commonly found in commercial animals.
