Located in the heart of Alberta's fertile prairie farmlands, we are a boutique producer of world-class dog and cat foods. Our unique focus is upon ‘Biologically Appropriate’ formulations made from ingredients grown, raised or fished within our region by people we know and trust.
Our foods start with fresh, never-frozen, local meats such as free-run chicken, turkey or duck, wild caught freshwater and saltwater fish, whole eggs, and free-range wild boar, lamb or bison, to name a few. To preserve their natural goodness and taste, we steam-cook our fresh ingredients at low-temperature (90C/195F) in small batches, usually on the same the day they arrive.
Produced exclusively in our award-winning pet food factory here in Alberta, Canada, ORIJEN is never made or re-packaged in any facility other than our own!
As exporters to some 45 countries worldwide, our factory, ingredients and pet foods meet every known pet food regulation and standard in the world!
