Mit einem Mindestanteil von 70 Prozent (70%) amtstierärztlich kontrollierten Fleisches, aus 6 Quellen stellt ORIJEN das Futter dar, welches am reichsten an frischem Huhn, frischem, wildem Fisch und frischen, ganzen Eiern ist — alle Zutaten kommen frisch in unserer Produktionsstätte an — Sie wurden nie gefroren oder getrocknet um die Haltbarkeit zu erhöhen, und werden bei geringen Temperaturen (90°C) gedünstet um ihre natürlichen, guten Inhaltsstoffe zu erhalten.
ORIJEN’s proteinreiche Formel ersetzt den Bedarf an Getreide (welches eine teure und dazu unpassende Energiequelle ist), aus diesem Grund ist dieses proteinreiche Futter sättigender und Hunde und Katzen fressen eine geringere Menge Orijen als von anderem Futter.
Anders als Kohlehydrate, welche den Blutzuckerspiegel ungünstig beeinflussen können und leicht zu Fettleibigkeit führen, wird ungenutztes Protein durch die normalen Körperfunktionen einfach wieder ausgeschieden.
